Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty Before & After: Case #18
18 year old who had multiple nasal fractures throughout his life. He had breathing difficulty through both nostrils. On exam he had a significantly deviated nasal septum with bilateral airway obstruction secondary to the septum as well as the inferior turbinate. He underwent a septoplasty to help straighten the septum. The nasal bones were also deviated, therefore osteotomies were performed to help the alignment. Bilateral spreader grafts were placed to straighten and also strengthen the septum. Bilateral submucus resection of the inferior turbinates were done to help open the nasal airway.
Individual results may vary.
