Breast Reconstruction Before & After: Case #51
A 25 year old woman, 5’7″ and 230 lbs, who underwent right breast mastectomy due to cancer. She had immediate breast reconstruction performed with tissue expander. She subsequently had removal of the tissue expander and placement of a permanent silicone implant as well as mastopexy on the left breast to obtain symmetry. She had placement of a 700 cc smooth round silicone implant. She decided to not have nipple areola reconstruction at this time.
