Tummy Tuck
Tummy Tuck Before & After: Case #34
30 year old female, 5’9”,155 lbs, with a history of gastric bypass and significant weight loss. She had 150lb weight loss after her gastric bypass within the first year. She has been stable at the current weight for more than 6 months and desired removal of the resultant excess hanging abdominal skin. She therefore, underwent an abdominoplasty. In addition to the removal of the skin, she had separation of the rectus muscles, referred to as rectus diastasis. This was a result of the massive weight gain which stretched out the fascia or the area between the muscles. Therefore a plication of the rectus muscles was done to help flatten the abdomen.
Individual results may vary.
